Cloud Milk Studio is a Black & Queer-owned business featuring kindle cases, bookmarks, and it's infamous monthly Swiftie Mail Club.

Each month, subscribers recieve a letter in the mail featuring goodies designed based on a chosen Taylor Swift song. A postcard, bookmark, stickers, etc.

Working with Ali on the August 2026 Mail Club was a dream come true. We conceptualized designs for Taylor's song 'mirrorball', which has always been a personal favourite of mine ever since I first heard its lyrical complexities.

We worked closely designing a collection that felt true to mirrorball, with love and metaphors woven into each pixel.

As I was brainstorming for this collection, I thought about how the lyrics of "mirrorball" mention showing you every version of yourself. It made me think of the moon, and how we only ever see one side of her because she is tidally locked to us. She only lets us see one side of her, much like a mirrorball person, who performs a constant dance of showing everyone a version of themselves perfectly curated to whoever they're with.

Together, we designed:

• Double-sided postcard

• Double-sided bookmark (featuring a journal prompt written by Ali)

• Two stickers

• Scrapbook paper (back of letter)

With these designs, I incorporated a variety of vintage, public-domain images and assets. From vintage photograph overlays, to vintage frames and illustrations, this collection was Taylored (pun-intended) to demonstrate the poetic beauty of mirrorball.
